January 30, 2018 5:03 pm

The Rewa football side hopes to make a powerful come-back in the Vodafone Premier League after losing to Suva 3-2 in the first round earlier this month.

Coach Marika Rodu will field a mixture of young and experience players against Nadi, when the VPL resumes this weekend.

Rodu says they have been working on the key areas which were exposed in the first game against Suva.

“Looking at the games against Suva has highlighted before just our Defence am still working on the defense but with the transfer window we will have a few new players that will join in so to redirect my focus on how to manage the time in the game so that the new players are able to familiarize themselves in the responsibilities that they have”.

Meanwhile, in the only VPL match on Saturday, Labasa plays Dreketi, 1.30pm at Subrail Park and on Sunday Rewa host Nadi, 3pm at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.
