Rewa football aims to top Vodafone Premier League

The Rewa football side is aiming to top the Vodafone Premier League standings this year.

Rewa who hosted Nadi in a nil-all draw yesterday knows the level of competition is tough.

Coach Marika Rodu says they will iron out their weaknesses as there were a lot of penalties conceded in the match against Nadi.

“Our aim is still to win the national league the two performance we had against Suva and Nadi had to deters us from our main objective of the year so defiantly we still want to get the In line with our goal and perform to the same and our expectation is to still get players fit perform at their best and start winning the games coming up in the near future.”

Meanwhile Nadi will face Labasa at 1.30pm on Saturday at Subrail Park in Labasa and will then meet Dreketi at 1.30pm on Sunday.

In other matches, Lautoka will face Rewa at 3pm on Sunday at Nausori’s Ratu Cakobau Park.
