Flying Fijians skipper, Netani Talei says the Fiji Rugby Union should retain the core of the Pacific Nations Cup team for the November tour.

Talei says it’s now for FRU and the national coaches to consider the idea.

“Most of these boys need to playing in this Northern tour, yes there will be overseas players eyeing to play but at the end of the day it’s about development and it’s about taking the step forward, they proved themselves throughout the PNC, all they need is more game time and experience.”

Talei leaves for Scotland on Thursday.
