The battle among the Vodafone Fiji Residents is on the go for the 2017 Rugby league World Cup.

Fiji Residents Strength and Conditioning Coach Etonia Naiwasetawa says players know they’re fighting for a spot in the national team.

“That’s shows something good in what we preparing for. May be because of the world cup that is few months away and tat is why players are concentrating on their off-season training"

Naiwasetawa adds 2017 will not be easy for the Residents with some tough matches before the World Cup.

The Rugby League World Cup will held in October next year in Australia.
