It will be a repeat of the 1985 final when Rewa meets Lautoka in the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants finale this afternoon in Suva.

Yesterday in the semi-finals, the Blues defeated Ba 4-3 on penalty shootout, while Rewa upset Suva 2-1 in extra time.

The 1985 final saw Lautoka beat Rewa 3-0 at Laucala and the Blues will be looking at trying to repeat that result.

Rewa will be banking on its home crowd support as thousands are expected to make their way to the stadium to cheer for the Delta Tigers.

Rewa skipper Simione Tamanisau says they need to be switched on and need the support from the fans for the final against a youthful Lautoka side.

_“I think they gave it their 100 percent and stuck to the game plan and now one down and one more to go. We just want you to come and support us and for those back home we need to your prayers and this tournament this weekend is for you.”

The final will be played today at 3pm, before which Suva meets Ba in the third place play-off art 1pm.
