Five regional boxers will be part of the Best Boxing Promotions bouts to be held in Nadi this weekend.

Promoter Hasmat Ali says it will be a major event for spectators as it is the first time Fiji is hosting a number of overseas fighters in a local boxing program.

“First in the history of Fiji we have five boxers from overseas and we all got top boxers from Fiji fighting in this program and now we’re going to the big fight on Saturday.”

There will be seven bouts before the main bout between Joseph Kwadjo and Jacobus Kali in the Light Heavy Weight Division (80kg).

The bouts will take place at Prince Charles Park in Nadi starting at 4.30pm Saturday.
