Reddy confident of joining FFA

Three Vice-President’s positions will be contested for at the Fiji Football Association Congress next week.

Renowned lawyer and Nasinu team President Jiten Reddy will contest Tailevu Naitasiri’s Sandeep Roy for the post in the Southern division.

Reddy says, he has a lot of plan to work on and is confident of a win.

“I have a lot of plan in my pipe line and once I’m in I will put a lot of proposal to the board for the betterment of football in the country. I have a lot of support, the entire northern districts and all the Southern districts have thrown their support behind me except Naitasiri.”

Savusavu’s Edwin Rama will contest current holder Girja Prasad for the position in the north while former Nadi President Navneeda Gounder will contest JK Reddy for the position in the west.

The Fiji FA congress takes place on Friday week.

Meanwhile, the Courts Inter District Championship starts next Tuesday at Lautoka’s Churchill Park.

Rewa plays Dreketi at 1pm, Nadi battles Tavua at 3pm, Ba and Labasa clash at 5.30pm while Lautoka faces Suva at 7.30pm.
