The Red Rock 7s team aims to secure more overseas contracts for its players, next year.

Despite failing to field a team in the last qualifier tournament to the Coral Coast 7s, the squad is still confident of achieving better results in the next season.

Team Manager, Malakai Yamaivava says the teams’ priority is always the welfare of players.

“One of our boys, our senior players Saimoni Nuvu has secured a contract and has already left and we are proud of that. We are trying to secure more contracts for the boys and also develop the players for international tournaments.”

Yamaivava also adds the team has continued to develop in all aspects and player performance has been overwhelming.

The team is now gearing up for the Darwin 7s in Australia, next month.
