Fiji born winger Sevu Recce’s Waikato side has won the National 7s championship beating Tasman 21-7 in the final in New Zealand.

Recce scored a try for his side and also played a major role in his sides victory over the arch rivals in Rotorua.

In the womens final, Manawatu defeated Waikato by 17-15.
