Real Madrid retains European Cup

Real Madrid has been crowned the champion of the European Cup after they defeated Liverpool 3-1 in the Champions League final this morning.

This is Real Madrid’s third consecutive win.

Karim Benzema scored Madrid’s opening goal while Gareth Bale made the goal of the game with an insane bicycle kick in the 63rd minute to take a 2–1 lead.

Bale then scored another goal in the 82nd minute to give his team a 3–1 advantage.

Real Madrid is European Champions for the 13th time.

Meanwhile, Mohamed Salah’s Champions League final ended in heartbreak as the Egyptian was forced out with a shoulder injury.

The Liverpool forward had to be consoled by teammates as he left the pitch in tears in the 30th minute.

Salah was replaced by England international Adam Lallana.
