The Ovalau rugby team will hosts their Digicel Cup clash on Saturday and Suva coach, Salimoni Ravouvou is wary of facing his former team.

Ravouvou says Ovalay can’t be taken for granted especially at their home ground and with Suva carrying injuries to key reps, they will be even harder to overcome.

“I coached Ovalau and I know what they lack in size they make up with guts. It’s unfortunate we are carrying injuries Sireli Temo will be replaced by Peni Naqasima. Also coming in is our new guy Vilitati Sokiveta, he was in the Fiji 7s squad once and played for Lautoka and should do the job in replacing Mocetadra on the wing. It is also the first time for Waqabaca Kotobalavu to play for us this weekend.”

Considered the minnows within the top 12 provincial teams, Ovalau has so far beaten Macuata (29-25) but lost to Naitasiri (17-37).

Suva were upset last week, going down 16-17 to Tailevu and missing from their line-up this weekend as well is Samu Bola and Joeli Lotawa.

Other games this weekend will see Macuata taking on Lautoka at Subrail Park, Rewa meets Naitasiri at Ratu Cakobau Park and Tailevu faces Vatukoula at Theodore Park.
