The Rakiraki football side is looking to record its first win it top division at the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants tournament this week.
Team President, Shaneel Gounder says, they have enough exposure in the top tier and it’s about time to surprise bigger teams.
“We are going to Labasa to return with some positive results. We have proved in the past that we can be a team to be reckoned with and will try and do the same this week. Our focus is the national league but the BOG is a good chance to prove our worth.”
In the first match on Friday, Nadi plays Rakiraki at 1pm, Dreketi faces Lautoka at 3pm, Rewa meets Ba at 5pm and Labasa takes on Suva at 7.30pm.
