Good news for car racing fans in the country as racers and spectators will get to compete and watch next week’s quarter mile drag race for free.

Fiji Car Club President Raizal Haniff says they want to finish the year on a high note and give something back to their members and spectators for supporting the club throughout the year.

Haniff says this is a good opportunity for the public to have a feel of the atmosphere at the tracks.

Meanwhile the Fiji Car Club received a sponsorship of $5000 from Ashabhai group today.

The last race of the year will be held next Sunday in Pacific Harbour.
