The National Rugby Championship title holders Queensland Country is hoping to defend its title this season.

Queensland Country skipper, Hamish Stewart, says the team is in high spirit and ready for the semi-final against the Western Force.

“The attitude around the camp is very good. All the boys are very excited to get into the final. It’s not very often that you play finals so I told the boys to make the most of it.”

The Country takes on the Force at 4pm at Bond University ground on Saturday.
