The Vodafone Flying Fijians had their first training run today at the Xavier College grounds in Melbourne.

It was in chilly conditions in temperatures around 17 degrees.

However, this did not deter the team from having a good training run.

According to skipper, Akapusi Qera the players were really impressive at today’s training session.

Qera added that the weather conditions should not be an excuse for the team as they are there to do a job which they aim to complete on a high note this Saturday.

The team plays Australia at 5pm this Saturday.
