Nadroga Rugby President, Tiko Matawalu has hailed the team’s effort in successfully defending the Skipper Cup and Farebrother Challenge title for three consecutive years.

The Stallions held a celebration and awarded their top ten players of this rugby season.

Matawalu says it has been quite a journey for the local rugby union and they have achieved a lot.

“We have come a long way and we have climbed those mountains, we have also run those races and here we are looking back, we have run those races well.”

Meanwhile, Eremasi Radrodro scooped two awards of this year’s Best player of the Farebrother Challenge and the best player of the year.

The awards night was held at the Shagri-la Fijian Resort in Sigatoka.
