Team Fiji Chef de mission Patrick Bower has called on to the ten sporting federations to work closely with its athletes preparing for the Commonwealth Games.

Bower says they are working tirelessly to ensure all the background works are sorted to make the journey a smooth one for the contingents.

“What must be remembered by the national federations, because of the level of competition, sporting federations really need to work hard in their preparation? Other areas that needs to be covered so that we’re ready to move and we know that we’re taking a team that is being adequately prepared for and also we have the stones turned over and we’re ready to move into this top level competition.”

Team Fiji is scheduled to depart on the 30th of March.

The Commonwealth Games will be held from the 4th to the 15th of April in Gold Coast Australia.
