Fiji Snooker and Billiard Champion, Jiten Prasad is currently taking on Deepak Jairam in the final of the Open Tournament at the Merchant Club in Suva.

The national Number 1-ranked player beat Sahil Prasad 3-2 in the semifinal earlier today while Jairam beat Rahil Prasad 3-1 to progress to the final.

32 players competed in the two-day tournament.

The winner will earn $150 while the runner-up collects $100.

The next tournament in the Fiji Billiards and Snooker Association’s calendar is the Pillay Garments Champion versus Champion National Tournament on the 14th and 15th of next month.
