Fiji Regatta Race Official, Sophie Daveta has commended Royal Suva Yacht Club for representing the country in the sailing competition over the years.

She says the week long annual event hosts countries from all over the world and to have a team representing Fiji is overwhelming.

“We have eight yachts from the Royal Suva Yacht Club, they always participate. So this is like their sixth year, they have been coming over to Musket Cove.”

Daveta adds they have also been doing well in the competition.

The Capital City is among 14 countries from as far as Netherlands, South Africa and United Kingdom participation at the 32nd Fiji’s Legendary Regatta Week, which ends on Wednesday.
