The Police football side is taking a serious approach for next week’s Sukuna Bowl Challenge against Army.

Former Ba and Suva rep Ronald Lawrence will lead the team’s campaign at the tourney and says the side has a good chance of wresting the title from Army this year.

“We had Police IDC. After that the team came into camp. We do have an experienced coach, an experienced player, former Fiji and Suva rep Inosi Cava leading us and we also have some experienced boys in the team and we are doing well at training.”

Army have won the soccer title for the past two years.

The Police versus Army soccer match will be played at 9am next Friday in Suva.
