July 5, 2012 7:34 pm

Labasa Football and Papua New Guinea club Hekari United have struck an arrangement for a player exchange program.

Labasa secretary Satish Chand confirms that two Hekari players including the man who scored a stylish goal against Fiji in the Oceania Nations Cup Kema Jack could feature for Labasa in the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants.

Chand says there is also a likelihood some of the younger players are going to Hekari for exposure.

I have already applied for the ITC of striker Kema Jack and in fact, Koriak Upaga was supposed to come but there is a replacement. Wira Wame is going to come instead. They should be here by Wednesday or Thursday and by then we should be able to get their release. The other good thing is that Hekari chair PNG’s Mr Nacho will be at Subrail Park. He has said he would be taking some of our players for exposure.

Jack is classed as one of the best finishers in the Oceania region.

The BOG kicks off on July 22nd at Subrail Park in Labasa.
