PM sends congratulatory message to NZ

Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama, has sent a congratulatory message to his New Zealand counterpart, John Key on the win by the All Blacks at the 2015 Rugby World Cup yesterday.

New Zealand beat Australia 34-17 in the final.

Bainimarama says with rugby being Fiji’s national sport, many Fijians anticipated the finals and watched the game with great enthusiasm and passion.

He says New Zealand should be proud of the numerous sacrifices of its people at various levels for this outstanding victory.

Bainimarama adds such a victory will no doubt continue to be a source of inspiration and motivation for many young rugby players in New Zealand and around the world.

According to Bainimarama they have always been proud to witness this through the professionalism of New Zealand Rugby.
