Some players are under pressure to impress Vodafone Flying Fijians coach John McKee as he gets ready to name his final team to the Rugby World Cup.

McKee names his 31 players for the World Cup on Friday night in Suva.

He says there are still some players under consideration for a place in his final team for the biggest rugby event of the year.

“There is a little bit of pressure for some players. There are still a few positions that are not finalized and the balance, positional wise the players we take. There is a little bit of edge to training this week, which is good from my point of view as coaches as it is that we have good depth across our squad and it’s good to be able to make some tough decisions.”

The Flying Fijians depart on August 31 for England and play its first World Cup match against the hosts on September 19 at 7am.
