Fiji Netball President Wainikiti Bogidrau says they’re still waiting for some of their international players to come and trial for the Fiji Pearls.

Alisi Nawele and Adi Bolakoro who are currently playing with the Celtic Dragons in England is expected to trial for Fiji before the Pearls’ test matches in Singapore.

However, Bogidrau says all the players must prove themselves in order to be selected in the final squad.

“Three who couldn’t make it due to work commitments. They’ve written to us and we’ve accepted it. They will be part of the squad but again all members of the squad will have to go through the selection criteria again before we choose a team.”

Meanwhile, the final squad will be announced in June.

The Netball World Cup will be held from the 12th to the 21st of July in the UK.
