Vodafone Fiji 7s Coach, Ben Ryan says the players have proven their best into getting the team back at the top of the World Sevens Series after the Sydney and Wellington tournaments.

He adds he selected a bunch of local players that were able to match up to the experienced players of the other teams.

“We’ve played South Africa with Jongh, Sonny Bill Williams, the Ioanes’, Ardie Savea, Pulu. All All Blacks and our boys are all local and the exception, Semi.”

The national side will take a one-week break before it resumes training for the Las Vegas 7s on March 5th -7th.

The Vancouver 7s in Canada will be held the following week.
