July 9, 2018 4:32 am

Former Fiji Rugby Coach Wayne Pivac has been tipped to succeed Warren Gatland as the Welsh Head Coach.

Pivac who famously took the Fiji 7’s team to their 2005 Rugby World Cup win in Hong Kong has topped the shortlisted role ahead of fellow kiwi Dave Rennie who is the former Chiefs Head Coach and Current Glasgow warriors head coach

Pivac biggest coaching break in Wales came in 2017 where he guided his Scarlets team to a Guinness PRO12 Championship after 13 years where they hammered Munster in a 46-22 six-try romp at the Aviva Stadium.
