Fiji Football Association President Rajesh Patel has no intentions of resigning from the post anytime soon.

Patel denies recent posts on social media suggesting he will vacate the office.

“The social media can say what they want. You won’t be making any progress if you believe in social media. People only tend to give their own views on social media.”

Patel says he will contest the Fiji FA Presidency elections in October and is confident that with the achievements during his term, he will reclaim the post.

Three Vice-Presidents will also be elected next month.
