The Fiji Bati overseas based-players have shown their interest in representing the national side for the June test after they have received their 2017 World Cup payments from the National Rugby League body last three weeks.
The Bati players received a total of $156, 27 for their performance in the last Rugby League World Cup.
FNRL Chief Executive Timoci Naleba, says the boys are eager to play once again after the team tried to boycott upcoming international competitions.
“Currently they have re-seen on their public utterance of trying to boycott the Fiji Bati team, and am glad that they have said that publicly, that they would now want to play for Fiji, and it’s the wisdom of our various based players in Australia to be able to do that and seeing the big pictures of making sure that the rugby league at the end wins.”
