Overseas-based players start arriving

Overseas-based reps that have been named in the Vodafone Flying Fijians extended squad are slowly arriving into the country in preparation for the Maori All Blacks test next month as well as the Pacific Nations Cup.

National coach, John McKee says most players have been turning up to Rugby House in Suva to undergo preliminary medical and fitness tests.

“I’ve spoken to quite a few of the players in the West via email we are aware of their return dates. There is quite few starting to arrive this week, in the weekend and early next weekend so that’s good.”

The Vodafone Flying Fijians take on the Maori All Blacks on July 11th at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.
