The Ovalau rugby teams were back after two years to showcase their skills at the Vodafone Kaji Rugby tournament which started at ANZ Stadium, in Suva yesterday.

Ovalau brought in three teams competing in the under 12’s, 13’s and 14’s respectively.

Team Secretary, Makelesi Mulevoro applauded the support from parents who assisted them throughout their campaign on the island.

“From the island in three weeks in camp right up to national level and where we are now and what we have achieved now I want to thank you for the support and especially to the Ovalau-Suva parents"

Its U12 side defeated Taveuni 21- 7, its U-13 beat Cakaudrove 17-nil, while their U-14 side ended up in a 12-all draw against Cakaudrove.

The tournament continues until tomorrow at ANZ Stadium.
