Our sevens heroes return today-Kean

A small celebration is expected to be held at the Nadi International Airport when the Fiji Airways sevens heroes return today.

Fiji Rugby Union Chairman Francis Kean has confirmed that a low key celebration will be done to mark Fiji’s fifth consecutive win in Hong Kong.

Kean says it is important that people recognizes the hard work done by the Fiji 7s heroes.

Despite ongoing discussions between FRU and the Ministry of Youth Sports about a major celebration, Kean says they want to give more time to players and their families.

Meanwhile, Fiji remains in second place of the World Series standings with 142, three points behind USA who is leading with 145 points.

New Zealand is third in the table standing with 130 points followed by South Africa with 121 points.
