Organisers for this year’s Fiji Finals will be meeting on Wednesday to get preparation updates from the participating schools.

Fiji Secondary Schools Athletics president, Filimoni Waqa says there are issues being raised particularly from their western schools.

“The Coca-Cola Games 2012 will be no difference to any of the previous years. For 2012, there are plans that all schools at the West are coming back in. We received the entries from Tavua and Ba, Lautoka did their Zone meet last week and will send their entries today or tomorrow.”

Questions have also been raised with the availability of students during the two-day event as the school holiday’s being reduced to one week.

Waqa says the games will go ahead in a fortnight at the National Stadium and the inclusion of athletes from Rabi and Rotuma will add more flavour to the games.
