The Vodafone Flying Fijians are counting down the days to their opening Rugby World Cup match against hosts, England in 8 days time.
Coach John McKee says the realization of the looming test was brought to the fore during the official welcome ceremony accorded to the team at the Hampton Court Palace in London last night (Fiji Time).
“Now we really know we have arrived at the World Cup. Today (yesterday) it was the first welcome ceremony and as we’re playing England in the first game, there was a big media interest, with a big media contingent of TV and newspapers there so the boys know that it’s really down to business now as we enter our next phase of preparation.”
The Flying Fijians will face England in the opening match at 7am next Saturday and you can watch it live on FBC TV.
