“You don’t get another chance for four more years”

That is the message from former Fiji 7s player and 2005 World Cup winner Sireli Bobo.

Bobo says this a chance for the players to turn another page of rugby history by being the first team to win the Melrose Cup three times.

Being the best team on paper, Bobo says the onus is on the players to deliver their best in every match.

“I think you have no excuse regarding the effort that you did from the past World Sevens Series and just a few hours away from the game, I believe that you can’t wait to get out there.”

Given the star players in the form of the Semi Radradra, Josua Tuisova, Leone Nakarawa and Semi Kunatani, there are high expectations for the team to deliver.

Bobo says with only four games to play, a high level of endurance and perseverance is required from the players to withstand anything that comes their way.

Meanwhile, the Fiji 7s side will play the winner of Japan versus Uruguay in its first game at 3.53pm on Saturday.

The Cup quarterfinal finals start at 10.32am on Sunday while the semi-final begins at 7.40am on Monday and the final is scheduled for 12.49pm.
