Expect at least one change in the Vodafone Fiji 7s side for the Sydney 7s this weekend.
Coach Ben Ryan says forward Villiame Mata is expected to make an appearance in the side while Sevuloni Mocenacagi is under an injury cloud.
“Sevuloni did not train today with an ankle injury so he’s a doubt for the weekend. He’s got until Thursday to run 100% in training and then we will look and see who we are going to select. But I’ve already said that we are going to have one definite change this weekend, Viliame Mata will come in for somebody at least one change.”
Fiji will face Samoa in the opening match of the Sydney 7s at 12pm on Saturday followed by the clash against France at 3.18pm.
Fiji’s last pool game is against Argentina at 7.21pm.
