Olympics next for Naduva

Elusive winger Alusio Naduva aims to make the national squad for the upcoming Olympic Games next year in Japan.

Naduva made his 7’s debut in the 2017-18 HSBC World Sevens Series.

And, he has quickly established himself as one of the fastest rugby players.

Returning to his home village of Naweni after Fiji won the 2018/2019 7’s series, Naduva told FBC Sports, it’s been a dream.

‘My next mission is to play in the next Olympics in 2020 in Tokyo. I am preparing well for that and I hope to make the team’.

The Naweni lad says the side didn’t win the Rugby 7’s world cup last year, and they will make up for it at the Tokyo Olympics.
