'Offload Master' wins 2 awards

Vodafone Flying Fijians lock Leone Nakarawa picked up two awards at the Pacific Island Players’ Player of the Year Awards.

Dubbed the “Offload Master”, Nakarawa won the 2015 Fijian Players’ Player of the Year Award as well as the overall Digicel Pacific Island Players’ Player of the Year” Award.

The 27-year-old was a stand-out performer for Fiji during the recent Rugby World Cup, rated by many onlookers and commentators as one of the best players of the tournament.

Nakarawa appeared in all ten of Fiji’s test matches throughout the year.

Prior to the tournament, the 6ft 6in lock had been named the Man of the Match for Glasgow Warriors in the Guinness Pro12 Grand Final, as the side defeated Munster 31-13.
