“First up, we will have our Vodafone Fiji U19 taking on minnows American Samoa at 2.30pm. Fiji has been in camp for the past few months and under the guidance of skipper Jale Dreloa, the side will be looking at getting a good start in front of the home fans.”

“American Samoa has been tagged as the minnows, but the nation’s footballers want to prove a point and create the biggest upset in recent time in an Oceania event.”

“Following this game, we will have Vanuatu taking on New Caledonia at 5pm, before the Solomon Islands battle Papua New Guinea at 7.30pm.”

_"A relatively new venue for all the footballers involved, bar the few in the Fijian team, who have played for their districts on the Laucala pitch."-

“With no New Zealand, this is the best chance for Fiji, to go from playing second fiddle in recent time, to being champions of Oceania.”

“Fiji coach Ravinesh Kumar says the off the field work is over and it’s time for action.”

You can catch the live commentary of the Fiji-American Samoa match on Radio Fiji 2 with the voice of soccer Raymond Stoddart and also watch it live on FBC TV.

The last match between Solomons and PNG will also air live on FBC TV at 7.30pm.”
