The 2016 Oceania Futsal Championships kicks off at the Vodafone Arena in Suva today.
The Vodafone Fiji Futsal side takes on New Caledoina in the first match of the tournament.
Coach, Intiaz Khan has called on fans to come out in numbers to support the team but has asked them to give the team some time as this is a young bunch of boy’s.

“Patience, that’s what I need from the fans. We will try our best, our utmost best. Players are looking forward to the tournament and to win, not the tournament but to win some matches which will be a bonus to us.”
Fiji takes on New Caledonia at 3pm today.
In other matches, Vanuatu takes on New Zealand at 5.30pm while Solomon Islands meets Tahiti at 8pm.
