The final stages of the 2014 Oceania under 19 basketball championships are underway at the Vodafone Arena in Suva.

In division A, the New Caledonia women’s side defeated Papua New Guinea 65-38 in the gold and silver medal playoff.

In the men’s Division B gold and silver playoff, Guam defeated Samoa 95-74.

The bronze medal went to New Caledonia after the side defeated Tahiti 63-56.

In Division A, the Guam women’s side beat Tahiti 54-48 to claim the bronze.

The women’s final is underway between Australia and New Zealand.

The trans-Tasman rivals will face-off again the men’s final at 6pm.
