The International Table Tennis World Cadet Challenge was a testing experience for the Oceania team.

Coach Patrick Wuertz acknowledged his team’s effort and says there is a lot to work on before next year’s competition.

“For us it was a very journey and we were really underdogs here the Oceania Team so for us it was a massive learning experience and we’re looking forward to next year.”

Four players from Fiji, New Caledonia, Australia and New Zealand made up the Oceania Team which was placed 7th after the completion of the team’s competition yesterday.

The tournament ends Sunday.
