Fiji still doesn’t have the facilities to host a big international Billiard and Snooker event yet.
However, this is expected to change in the near future with plans to bring in world class equipment already underway.
Oceania Billiards and Snooker President, Barry Jones, who is in the country says, we may have the talent in abundance but we need proper equipment for these players to move to the next level.
“We need to know where we are, how we can help, what are the things that you need to do yourself to be able to look forward so that your players development improve, and possibly provide us with an Oceania champion in the near future.”
Jones will be meeting stakeholders in the country to discuss ways of developing the sport in Fiji.
