The New Zealand 7s team has been crowned champions of Dubai after beating USA 21-5 in the final.

The All Blacks led 5-nil at half time.

New Zealand captain Scott Curry says its feels really good to win the Dubai 7s title after 2009.

’I am incredibly proud of how the boys played in the last two games, we played like our lives depended on it and that’s what we will do in the 7’s tournament but I am proud”

New Zealand earlier defeated Scotland 21-7 then beat England 7-5 in the semi-final.

Meanwhile, England finished third after beating Australia 15-14 in the bronze medal play-off.
