England 7s flyer Dan Norton made history when he became the first ever Sevens player to score 300 tries when he sliced through the Canadian defence to score a try in their second pool match.

Norton made his debut for the English side in 2009.

He scored his first try against South Korea in the same year, coming as a replacement in the second half and scoring a try in England 54-nil win.

Meanwhile, in the Cup quarterfinal tonight, South Africa plays England at 8pm, New Zealand plays Scotland at 8.22pm, Australia meets Argentina at 8.44pm and in the final quarter-final Fiji faces USA at 9.06pm.
