Northland rugby coach, Ilivasi Tabua says the Digicel Cup game against Macuata this afternoon is an important one.

Tabua says they need to step up against the Northerners at Subrail Park.

“Knowing Macuata will be strong at home and playing under their home crowd at for us as Northland we know we what to achieve a gold at the end of competition and Macuata for us is other game that we need get our self right put our system more than we are training for and excuse thing we are training for to performance on today.”

The match kicks off at 3pm.
