Praneel Dass, the promoter for yesterday’s Westwood Northern Rumble in Labasa, has hailed the event as a success.

Dass says it was good to see boxing fans in the North turn up in numbers to witness the sport after a lapse of 12 years.

Ghana boxer, Joseph Kwadjo did not disappoint his fans as his opponent Opeti Tagi failed to continue the fight in the third round.

Sebastian Singh also continued with his fine form as he knocked out Waisale Ratu in the second round.

Dass says he is expecting to organize another promotion within the next four months.
