No victory celebrations for Rewa

The Rewa Football team will not hold celebration of winning the Vodafone Fiji FACT only for the second time.

The Delta Tigers, who beat Nadi 1-0 in the final yesterday, now turns its focus to the Vodafone Premier League.

Rewa team President, Nazeel Buksh, says the next plan is to win the national league and also begin preparations for the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants.

“We in the middle of the season. A very important season for Rewa itself, we in the middle of the national league, we just in top three aiming to win this national league so any plans we will be keeping in mind it do not disturb our preparation for league and BOG.”

Meanwhile, in the VPL, in the lone match on Friday, Labasa takes on Suva at 7.30pm at Nausori’s Ratu Cakobau Park.

Three matches will be played on Sunday all starting at 3pm.

Rewa takes on Labasa at Ratu Cakobau Park, Lautoka hosts Dreketi at Churchill Park and Ba takes on Rakiraki at Govind Park in Ba.
