The Fiji 7s team is wary of tough competition at the Tokyo 7s this weekend.

Fiji is going into the tournament as top seeds leading Pool A against France, England and Japan.

Team manager Semi Rogoyawa says the main aim is to beef up their defence and work at perfecting their game phases.

“We know that going into the Tokyo 7s this weekend will be tough as all teams will be out to topple us. The players had a gym session this morning before going over our previous game footage in the afternoon. England, France and Japan will be no push-over and we have to spend our dvd session this afternoon going over areas we have to polish before our pool games.”

The Tokyo 7s kicks off this Saturday; Fiji plays France at 3.12pm, Japan at 6.47pm and will meet England at 10.09pm.
