Team Fiji Chef de Mission Patrick Bower

The code of conduct for Team Fiji athletes and officials to the Pacific Games will be released in a document on Saturday.

Team Fiji Chef de Mission Patrick Bower stresses the importance of maintaining discipline, transparency and integrity at the games.

Bower says the athletes need to be reminded they are ambassadors of Fiji.

“We are not expecting all of them to win gold, silver or bronze but we are expecting them to do their best and to deliver honorably and come back home as a great team that has worked together as a team to do their best.”

Team Fiji will assemble at the FMF Gymnasium at 9 am on Saturday for their final briefing.

The 2019 Pacific Games will be held in Samoa from the 7th to the 20th of next month.
