No major changes expected in line-up

September 16, 2015 12:54 am

The Vodafone Flying Fijians to face England in the Rugby World Cup opener this weekend will be named tonight.

FBC Sports Editor, Indra Singh has the latest from England.

“Flying Fijians coach, John McKee has been keeping his cards close to his chest ahead of naming his team for the match-up against England. However judging from the training-runs, it looks likely there will not be many changes to the run-on side which played Samoa in the PNC final and Canada in the final warm-up match. However, the position of halfback is a tough battle with Nikola Matawalu’s prowess and the experience of Nemia Kenatale; this could be an interesting one. The kicking department is also sorted with Ben Volavola, Josh Matavesi and first-choice kicker, Nemani Nadolo all practicing their accuracy daily. McKee has already stated the staff have a fair idea from last week who will be in the starting team. The team will be named at 9pm today (Fiji Time).”
